what is the best airlines that you have traveled on? I am also looking to rack up some frequent flier miles.

that kind of depends on how you plan to aquire miles I assume, and where you plan to do most of your flying. You can sign up for a american express delta gold card , in doing so I got 25,000 miles just for signing up. When using the delta card, you also can pay for the ticket using miles a differeent way ie, example manila to new york at the time i wanted to fly would have normally required 110,000 miles when booking on delta site, but because i have an american express gold card i was able to use only 80,000 miles for the same trip. You also get deals on luggage, as well as priority boarding. The is normally a annual fee for this card , but first year was free,so make sure you plan to use it. I have had it less than a year, got enough miles, used them and most likely will cancell the card.

Hope that helps some.

This is a tough question because there are many factors to consider. First, where will you be travelling to? Is price or service the most important thing to you? Usually, the top rated airline for Asian travel is Singapore Airlines but, I am not sure of prices. I have flown on many European airlines and love Lufthansa and Swiss Air. I have not flown Southwest ( and if you want to travel internationally, they do not and you cannot acquire miles for international travel) but have heard very good things about them. I work for Continental and travel a lot and use many different airlines.
