hi everyone!!!

i was just curious, i got my canadian passport well over a year ago for the first time. It has my old home address on it because i moved later on in the year. I put my new address on all of documents for my k-1 visa, obviously of course!. for some reason do i have to change or get a new passport to get my new home adress on it? or does it even matter?

(p.s i still live in the same city from the adress i moved from)

im just asking this question because a police officer told me that i couldnt use my drivers liscence as ID or anything anymore until i got my newer adress put on it. so for some reason i wasnt sure if it would be the same way as a passport for some reason...(since ive never even been to the USA)

might be a dumb question, but im really unsure!! my passport is still valid for 4 more years aswell.

please let me know!
