Has anyone heard about V Visa?

There was an opportunity for qualified spouses and children (under age 21) of U.S. lawful permanent residents to join their family before December 21st 2000. Is there any new law or visa type like this now that allows me to stay in the U.S. while I'm waiting for a Green Card through my parents?

nope, not anymore.

it doesn't take that long now for spouses and children under 21. only 2 or more years of waiting. years ago it was over 5 years of waiting.

the only way is if you get a student visa, you could legally stay in the country while studying. you would have a valid visa to adjust status in the US. or some types of work visas.
