I know what happened, I asked what you were doing for such a long holiday.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Helping my parents re-establish their life and lifely-hood. They are in their 70s. And yes, I did think that 90 days would be enough. And before you ask, I took an extended leave from my job. I was still hired and no, I did not try to sneak my way into the country illegally. I was also upfront about the situation when I applied for the F1. And no, I also did not think that I would stay beyond the 4 year mark on the F1.

So you complain about the process whilst misusing the terms of your visa entry.

There was no misuse at any point - I could have gotten my degree anywhere. But I could not keep an eye on my parents while studying if I've gone somewhere else, which I didn't. I'm absolutely capable of multitasking, so I came here to do both - as I stated at the embassy. But I guess the consular officers don't know the rules well enough, right?

I'm complaining about the process in general. Have you checked the family based priority dates lately? 3rd or 4th preference? They go back as far as the 90s?

Explain to me why a spouse can be cleared within a less than a year, and others take two decades?

All done ;-)

You entered on the VWP as a visitor, but obvious engaged in activities outside of that of a visitor.

And to state the obvious there are many more people whho wish to mo ve to the the US than there are visa numbers, so there is a wait.

Which activities would these be?

Providing nursing care/child care, etc...is considered work, and it does NOT matter if said work is performed on behalf of relatives (for the doubters out there, please, merely consult the Immigration & Nationality Act and find that exception for certain B2 [or VWP] visa holders...let me know when you find it.)

My little adventure is beside the point - which I made quite clear. Also, I would like to point out that the constitution - the part that I cited - does apply to 'all persons' not only US Citizens. Further, I did not 'lambaste' any border officials as you call it - I do understand the position they're in and therefore appreciate them doing their job - which they did. And yeah, I'll take that red carpet...

Dude are you even aware how bad is the German system. German system is so bad that one cannot even navigate it without having a company do the paperwork for one.

Everyone is ready to dole out advice on how the immigration system needs an overhaul as they were not treated with red carpet treatment.

Do you even realize how many fradulent attempts are made each single day to obtain US visa?

People are lot more creative than you can think of. Having ties family ties in US alone was made the major factor, whole of the Nigeria, India, Pak, China .. how can I forget Mexico would be here.

Why Spouse gets first preference of USC coz they are spouse of USC so they get first prefrence in line.

Children older than 21 are considered independant who can look after them self and do not need parents help so they are 3rd and 4th pref, if you cannot comprehend this simple logic then there is no point in any discussion.

I believe you just go by some of the comments you have heard from friends friend - like AOS interview are derogatory.

Well, then I guess you should be glad that I did none of these things or anything like them. I have not worked or done anything that could under any circumstances resemble work.
