If you want to speed things up, here's what to do:

1. A week or so after you receive the NOA approval for your petition from USCIS, start calling the National Visa Center (NVC) in order to get your MNL case number. Call the NVC every day until you get your MNL case number from them.

2. When you finally have your MNL case number, pay the visa fee at BPI. The next day, schedule an Embassy interview appointment online.

3. When you finally have your MNL case number, pre-register for your medical on St. Lukes website and complete your medical.

4. Don't wait for the Embassy to send you a letter telling you that you are eligible to schedule an interview. If you wait for their letter, it can set you back two months.

I hope this helps. :star:

but what's NVC received/NVC left and consulate received? Don't we need to wait for the petition to get to NVC and the eligibility letter from the embassy before we can be scheduled?

Not trying to take over the Topic but me and Mav were talking about this yesterday. I told her to get her Medical completed. She asked : About the Visa Fee. I said: I don't think thats required yet. The Medical is good for 6 months is what I understand.

To the OP. I believe the MNL# is what you need along with other things listed above.

What confused me and Mav, was AN APPOINTMENT LETTER. I thought this was not required. Is this the letter you people are talking about? (Supposely looked at by the guard) ?

If you have already scheduled your interview, you can bring a copy of your interview appointment confirmation printout to St. Lukes in order to be admitted for your medical. However, it's not required. Instead, you can bring your USCIS NOA petition approval and your MNL case number.

The letter that you don't want to wait around for is the Embassy letter that tells you that you are eligible to schedule an interview and gives preparation instructions. That letter is here.

OK. I read that. I was hoping to just complete the Medical. I can send Mav the Visa Fee too. But, I don't want schedule an interview due to my employment (Poverty Lines) My Unemployment is over those guilds but I know I need a Job Substainable to those guilds. Not Unemployment Compensation.

I would like the Medical and Visa Fee Paid but I'm not in a financial situation for Mav to Interview. We are already on an extention of the NOA2. I think I need at least 3 to 4 months on a real job and not Unemployment that meets or exceeds the guildlines for her interview. ????? Tim
