BASY: I'm somewhat in the same boat. My GC expires the exact same day yours does, and USCIS received my package at VSC two days after they received yours. I still have no NOA1 and haven't had my check cashed.

I have also moved recently, and changed my address back in October. However, when they sent the reminder about removing the conditions on my green card, they sent it to the old address last month.

So it's a similar situation. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm figuring it's just the holiday season affecting things.

We moved out from our very first home\address in May 2010 and though I filed a new address a long time ago they sent a reminder in September 2011 to the old one :devil:

However, after me moved again I've been receiving all correspondence to the very latest address BUT filed change of address with USPS just in case, they are good at re-routing mail. Hope you didn't forget to attach a list of all your previous addresses to your petition. I would think that when they process your case there are people who actually look at your address, and when they send a reminder it's all automatic.

Well, at least you got it in soon enough to still be part of our December filer group. We Canadians in Portsmouth need to stick together!

Yeah...believe it or not, I was completely meticulous about everything...yet somehow I managed to forget to have my wife and I actually SIGN the I-751. We signed the cover letter, but I guess since I filled out the I-751 in text on the form, I completely forgot to sign it. And I feel like the world's biggest moron for making such a silly mistake!

Hello Everyone,

I have been out for a LONG TIME prolly since we finished our AOS paperwork. Anyway, my wife's GC expires on 03/25/2012. So today is the 90th day before it expires; therefore, we are sending our documents tomorrow. I expect to hear something back from USCIS in the form of NOA1 around Jan 10th or so. Can someone please add us to the list of the VSC fillers. The date for sending documents is 12/28/2012. Good luck to everyone!!!

  • 2005: After a year of long distance, enter USA on F1 visa (we knew we liked each other, weren't sure enough to get married)
  • May 2008: Finish courses, begin 1 year OPT
  • May 2009: Get Married, begin adjustment of status process
  • Dec 3rd 2009: Receive conditional green card

USCIS sent back my package on 27th due to post dated(2012) check. I may need Reatard alert !! like peter had in family guy. Sent the package back on 27th with correct dated check.
