Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. I received the approval notice on 8/27, but I still haven't received my card! Does anyone know why there would be such a long delay? I can't check my status online because my case is not in the online system. I called the customer service today and waited for more than 30 minutes until 8pm... Please advice, thank you!!!

Have you tried calling them again today? I really hope you got an answer already.

I don't think I ever called them without having to hold 30min to an hour. It takes patience for sure, but you need to call persistently because there is no reason for such long delay if you have received your approval letter. Your card may have been mailed to the wrong address, lost in mail, or mistakenly never sent out.

I have a question. Does the approval letter come in the applicant name or name of husband? Can it come as a certified mail or regular mail?

Thank you! I did call them again, it turned out that they either forgot to order the card production or didn't do it correctly. Anyway, it got fixed finally, the card has been ordered and I can check my status online now! Lessons learned: I should have called them a month back!

I got the card in mail yesterday! Here are my dates, hopefully it's helpful:

12/27: sent application for renewal

March: biometric

8/27: approved

10/17: card production ordered

10/22: received the card

Sent response to RFE on 10/10, received a text this morning, to check my status online.

Online status says card production ordered on 10/31. Wait for 30 days for card. None of the status circle was shaded or highlighted though. God is great!
