I just wanted to say that we were approved without submitting tax returns because we had plenty of other evidence to show that we had joint assets. I was worried that we would get an RFE, but luckily, we didn't.

Hello guys!

I'm new to the site and only registered to post my timeline because I feel I owe it to you guys, I've been watching this thread for months now! This site is a blessing in the sense that we all somewhat have the same storyn and share it together. My 10 yr GC arrived today in the mail and after my 5 minutes happy dance in the living room I immediately had a thought for all the other filers out there. I wish every single one of you all the best and hope all of you receive their GC soon. Stay positive, the wait won't be forever. Good luck to the Vermont filers as well, I know the road is longer than most of us CSC filers but remember: in a couple months, it will all be behind you. Enjoy life until then...

To all VSC Dec filers, if VSC keeps up their timing, it looks like you should be receiving your approvals in the next couple of months!

Thank you so much No, I never received the card production notice email nor approval letter. Correct, the card just suddenly arrived. Thanks for the tip on locating the Decision Date! Expiration date reads 06/11/22! So I guess that's when the approval was made.

I also never received the Notice of Extension after filing my case so 2 weeks before my old card expired in March I called USCIS and they sent one...

I'm glad this is all over and I wish everybody the very best of luck!

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on June 15, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Did anyone get an i-797 approval notice? I have received my card but do not yet have an approval notice and wanted to know if anyone else got one.

I did get a notice of approval, but it didn't say that it was I-797C.

On another note, yesterday, I got an e-mail notification/text:

On June 19, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
