What did you get the RFE for? All the cool kids get RFEs - a bit like those who passed their driving tests on the second attempt B-)

Not enough evidence of meeting in person. When we filed our petition (before we found VJ.com) we only included our itineraries and date stamped photographs. Since the RFE we've gathered up the boarding passes from two trips, luggage tags showing name and flight number, photocopied my entire passport, wrote down the name of the TSA agent who stamped the passport at Dublin and printed off more photographs. Hopefully that should be enough once we get it in order.

i think even just the boarding passes and passport stamps will be enough because they will be wanting proof that you where in the same country at the same time as flight itineraries only prove that the flight was booked :)

We'd rather bury them in evidence this time rather than have to go through more RFEs. We thought that the itineraries and photographs of us side by side holding newspapers dated a few days before the petition was submitted was decent proof :P

you would think so but i believe you have to include primary evidence too like passport stamps. i dont blame you for sending in way more than they probably require though :)

I'm just grateful I was over with Jess when we got the RFE. That way when we read it together we could work out our plan of attack a lot better.

If they treat the bathrooms with as much scrutiny as our paperwork then I can certainly believe it!

Just an update, I didn't get to hear the magic words of acceptance like I would have liked to, I got a blue 221g because my passport was fecked from going through the wash! All it means is that I need to get a new passport (got an appointment in Peterborough on Monday - I live south of London!! ), ring the number the woman circled and get it shipped to the embassy for them to complete the visa processing. I'll write a review when I can muster the strength.

I'm glad this bit is almost over, but annoyed that, like everything in this process so far, the POE is still a mystical date in the future.
