HI EVERYONE!I'M JUST WORRIED ABOUT MY AOS PACKET.... WE SENT OUR PACKET NOV. 14 VIA USPS REGISTERED MAIL AND DELIVERED NOV. 20 2011. AND UNTIL NOW NO TEXT OR EMAIL FROM THEM IF THEY ALREADY RECEIVED IT. SHOULD I CONTACT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALREADY OR WHAT?IAM SO WORRIED ABOUT THIS.

Call them now. Ask if they received it. Ask if it is accepted or RFE?

I really do not know how fiance thing works

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

Many people do not receive the text or email notification...it's just the way of the system even if you sent in a G-1145. It happens all the time, and I see it a lot. I would not worry just yet. Just try to relax...I'm sure all is fine.

Call them now. Ask if they received it. Ask if it is accepted or RFE?

It's too soon to call and ask about an RFE...they probably haven't even looked at the file yet.

I sent my AOS package on October 4th and they sent me the email and text message the 19th and it said that they received it the 7th. I don't know if that information helps, but I was really worried when I finally got the message.

it can take upto 2 weeks for the mail/text notification if at all :S

You might want to try calling USCIS to get an update :)

Our K1 Visa Timeline

AOS

08-30-2011 - AOS/EAD packet sent

09-12-2011 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD with 09-08 notice date

10-11-2011 - Biometrics appointment (appointment letter received on 09/19)

11-03-2011 - EAD card production request

11-14-2011 - EAD in the mail

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

**No more USCIS for two years**
