Alright, good that you'll be travelling with your husband and belongings. It would have been harder if you weren't.

Why wouldn't you be able to carry all your belongings with you? I really don't understand where you've heard that as you're MOVING. Of course you're going to have all your stuff with you.

Yeah I think you are right, that was about a person who got a non-immigrant visa.

Interview scheduled for February 7th.

I'm a little concerned with the following:

The following table lists the documents requested by the NVC and whether or not the

NVC received them. Please note that even though the applicant may have provided

the NVC with a copy of a document, the applicant is still required to bring the

original document to the visa interview.

Does this mean I have to go get additional copies of prior divorce and of our marriage license and cert again even though I just did it for NVC a few weeks ago?

Grats on getting your interview date!

And nope, you don't need to get any more certified copies of those documents. Just bring the copies you have, just in case :)

I sent the originals/certified ones to the NVC, I don't have any more.

It's usually a good idea to make a copy of all packages before sending anything to the government. Oh well, too late now.

Yes I made a copy of them, but they are not the originals. The originals have raised seals on them. NVC sent me an RFE for these, because they wanted the originals. So I do have photocopies of them, but they are without the raised seal obviously. According to the e-mail above, they want originals/certified/raised seal ones presented at the embassy too, regardless of whether NVC rec'd them or not? Sorry if I am not grasping this, but the email directions seem to read this way to me.

Also what is the X for with the Financial evidence?

If you sent the originals, then of course you can't bring them to you to the interview. If you have copies, then bring those. That's what I did for all my documents.

As for the X, I don't know.

I now do. It's a typo, I called NVC and they said it's nothing to be worried about. It's a typo and that code isn't even an appropriate remark for that.

Silly NVC making typos rofl.gif
