Just wondering what cases are CSC working on? Do they work on the holidays? ie. xmas, new year's ???

USCIS: 161 Days NOA1 to NOA2

9/1/11 - I130 Mailed (USPS Priority)

9/2/11 - Arrived in Chicago Lockbox

9/6/11 - NOA1 via text/email (rerouted to California Service Center)

9/9/11 - NOA1 Hardcopy in mail

9/9/11 - Check cashed .... and the wait Begin

2/10/12 - NOA2...no whammies, pleaase, email only, no txt

2/12/12 - mother in law past.... She was an angel

2/12/12 - NOA2 Hardcopy in mail

2/13/12 - NVC rec' case ! No expedite, but I worked a few nervIes...

NVC STAGE: .......days from case # to case complete

2/13/12: NVC received case (information only given on 02/13)

2/23/12: case number and IIN assigned - gave email info to operator

2/24/12 :Paid AOS fee and DS3032 sent by email (auto response received immediately)

2/27/12: AOS fee PAID on payment portal, Fee was withdrawn from Bank Account. So,is PAID :-)

2/27/12: mailed AOS (USPS Express mail) & was told the NVC accepted the Choice of Agent but havent heard or saw anything different

2/27/12: Choice of agent accepted

2/28/12: IV fee invoice received by email

2/28/12: Paid IV fee

2/29/12: IV fee PAID on payment portal

2/29/12: IV package sent

3/12/12: IV package reviewed and accepted. AOS package not Recv'd

3/14/12: Case complete!

4/06/12 : Interview Date Scheduled for 05/31/12!

4/09/12: Case file sent to Dakar

5/18/12: medical

5/31/12: interview , ap asking for joint sponsor

6/12/12: APPROVED!!!!

6/14/12 : pick up visa!!!

Currently : waiting to pick up visa

P.O.E. :

6/15/12:JFK to ATL

6/16/12 : MEM to ME !!!

It is our American government so they follow our holidays and take the USA holidays off

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

There continues to be no evidence that CSC is processing anything aside from VWP countries, and only those seem to rarely get processed. According to Igor's list there have been no more than 11 NOA2s for IR1/CR1s out of CSC each month since June. :(

August here, no NOA2 yet. Filed for expedite on the grounds of personal safety, with 8 pages of supporting evidence, and they replied back the next day with a "No". If only they processed visa applications that fast. So frustrating =(.

08-27-2011 - I-130 package received by the Chicago Lockbox

08-30-2011 - Received electronic NOA

02-24-2012 - NOA2

03-06-2012 - Received first notification of NOA2 (in mail, website not updated and no txt/email)

This process is so strange,they barely sent i130 to thr vsc...and they process fiance visa so quickly....you would think it would faster fot those who have married

Amazing how fast they can crank that answer out, no?

The key part isn't married vice engaged, but VSC vice CSC. VSC is still working on family based visas (K1/IR1/CR1) but it seems that CSC has basically stopped all processing of family based visas presumably in favor of some other type.

August filer here - almost 4 months for me. I would pay extra fees just to get this rolling faster - you'd think raising the price of this operation would at least pay for a few more salaries at CSC.

I had planned on my wife being with me February - guess I should be planning for May.

Are they understaffed or what?

Uh... I have some evidence. My petition was approved by CSC not too long ago. And Cambodia is not a VWP country.
