The oil companies own the pipeline. More than half of the pipeline is on federal land. Alaska basically passed legislation that allows them to steal from the rest of America. It's outrageous that I don't get my share.

I actually got a raise in my unemployment benefits when I filed for an extension. I had to use up what was left of my old claim though before I got my "boost". I first filed this last time back in January and the way it's looking I can collect up until late April / early May of next year.
