I assume your concern is for your own safety and that if he knows or suspects he might threaten you? I suggest you report any threats to the local police so there is a record.

I ted to agree with the poster above (Lexy)- if there is a complaint against him, they may well have contacted him or been obligated to explain his case if he called.

In the end it doesn't really matter who told him or how he found out, what's done is done - your safety is most important. I hope you do not continue to allow him in your home and have changed the locks

I am not sure of the facts of your case and I'm sorry for your situation and any danger you might be in.

But what did you expect to happen? You made some serious allegations against him that would have serious repercussions for him. He has a right to know these allegations. ICE is not going to simply take action against him and not tell him why. I would go so far as to say he has a right to know who is making allegations against him (a right to face his accuser). But even if they didn't tell him who made the allegations, it's probably easy to guess.

think this situation calls for a calm head and proactive thinking.

be sure that you know 1. what you want to do (end the marriage? have him deported? exact revenge?) 2. what your options are now that you have made reports to various government agencies (move on with your life? change your cell phone number? move? ignore him? restraining order?) and 3. what may be expected of you (appearing in court? filing an affidavit? nothing?).

since you said you have a lawyer, you might want to talk to him/her about where things stand at the moment. remember that you are his sponsor (or co-sponsor) for roughly 10 years, no matter the status of your relationship with him.

take a deep breath, assess your situation (with your lawyer) and make smart decisions about your life, your safety and your happiness.

best of luck!

Contact USCIS and ask them about it. Then contact the police if you feel you are in danger, and contact a lawyer.

Abuses are manipulative. It's possible no one told them anything at all. He might be "testing" you because he suspects you would contact USCIS - telling you he "knows" something to see if you confess. If your reaction is, "how did you find out?!" then it confirms his suspicions.

I would say restraining order and cut all contact except through a lawyer. He has a right to know everything on his file it is his file not yours. Your goal should be to never talk to him and get out with as much money as possible. Who cares what or where he goes after you extract him from your life.

He could have Google'd your E-mail address or something & maybe he did find out in the past you were on VJ. Yes, you use a different username, yet, he might tell it's you because of your spelling or the way you say a sentense. My husband could pick me out of thousands if he would just read the way I type or anything...

@OP, you know he's a liar, manipulator and con artist... Why would you believe anything that he says.

My bet would be that he's concerned about you reporting everything to USCIS so he said this to you in order to get your reaction.

Based on your responses to him he probably now knows more than he did before.

I'll never understand why people don't just change their phone numbers and lock-out hurtful persons from their lives.

You should NEVER EVER speak directly to him again. Get a No Contact (or restraining) Order on him and move on with your life.

What is your concern about him knowing? If you are being truthful, then he already knows all of the things you said that he had done. It does not need to be a secret that you reported it to ICE.

No what i am concern about is he talking about now he is going to build a case against me!

That is all, he said he is going to build something against me because he found out that i reported him. I am not afraid but what i am afraid is that he got ppl and lawyers that work for WAVA that can help him to commit this fraud against me. I read some horror stories how lawyers will take cases like my husband and represent theme free to file false abuse against me. While me on the other hand have no one to back me up or represent me. I read that it is billions of dollars for WAVA victims as well. They have a lot of help[, resources and backing than us american victim do. That is what i am afraid of that he has more power and that i am broke and powerless with no backing whatsoever!

It like whoever if somebody contacted him is giving him the ammunition to try to get me back and file a abuse case against me now.

I never said i had a lawyer i am broke as heck from getting him up here and I lost my job so i go to him once in a while to get money from him because he is working but illegally even though he got his paperwork but his boss still pay cash. I am about to lose everything i have because of making a stupid decision spending my last to get him here. I can't even afford a simple divorce from him because of my money situation.

best of luck!

I want to believe he is full of it and making this stuff up but the stuff he said about me was hitting to close to home..

He even told me that he contacted his boss back at home to let him know what is going on and that he ask his boss for his job back and that he have up to 6 month to leave the country to go back to work at his old job.

Kokofe wrote something stating when the USCIS contacted him they gave him up to 6 months to get himself together and that he filed wava abuse against his wife that withdrew his petition in another thread.

so it is possible they contacted him cuz my husband is talking about leaving the country to go back home and he told me how he doesn't have anything to lose and that I have everything to lose.

You're over-thinking this...

Lock him out of your life and move along, you've done your part and notified USCIS of the situation...

You have what to lose? LOL

All a VAWA gets him is the right to live in the US without you. So what? He cant get anything from you or take anything from you.

Quit talking to him. Change your number.

####### do you care what happens to this dude? Even if he gets his "abuse" claim processed who cares? The "abuse" claim gets his PR but does not affect you at all.

Ignore this silly rabbit and move on. If he threatens you or bothers you shoot him (in self defense). LOL
