I have spoken with several people on this site and some have been very helpful. My reason for starting this new conversation is in hopes that someone will respond to me that has went through the same thing I am currently going through. I pretty much know what could happen but want some input from someone that has went through it. The I-130 petition was approved. My husband had his interview May 13th of 2011. He wasn't given a denial slip at the interview. He was told the paperwork was being sent back to USCIS for further review. I was contacted afterwards by USCIS and informed that they had received the paperwork back with a request that it be reviewed. I have spoken with an immigration consultant and pretty much know what to expect. I would just like to speak with someone that has had the same thing happen to them and what the outcome was. Thank you in advance for any assistance in this.

My case was sent back, but it was for different reasons.

I received a NOIR (Notice of Intent to Revoke) in the mail from USCIS last week :(

I know of another petitioner (I130) through Jamaica who's case was sent back.

I have sent her this link and hope she can be of assistance to you.

In my research of the 221g process I understand that USCIS may re-affirm the approved I-130 and return it to Kingston for a 2nd interview. They may also send you the same NOIR and give you 30 days to respond to the consular's findings.

I would suggest you google 221g and research as much as you can, and if you can afford a lawyer get one ASAP!

I have some more links, I will find them and come post.

Best of luck to you (F)
