we have been waiting 118 day to date. after 90 days I would suggest scheduling an infopass appt. Kezzie is correct, 60 or so days is not the norm for obtaining the EAD. We didn't even have the biometrics taken until just a few days ago.

Just an aside - comparing experiences for EAD is kind of useless as all local offices are different with varying timelines.

It took about 67 days for my husband to get his EAD card. It was a little over 50 days before he got his biometrics appointment. It's a frustrating wait, but I don't think you've been waiting too, too long. As others said, I would wait a bit more and then make an appointment to find out what the hold up is.

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

Hello All,

My husband Liam had his biometrics done on 22 February, both the EAD and I485 applications were "touched" on 23 February.
