Hey VJ members!

We have a problem, we'll have our AOS interview on dec 19 and we only have the Sprint bill and affidavits from people that know abou our relationship. We were also suppsosed to have the comcast bill but they didn't add my husband's name on the bill...and I talked to the people from comcast 3 times...I am soo nervous right now. WE sent with the files the joint checking account, car insurance and lease agreement. what elese can I do in these 3 weeks???

Hi Kitty!

Hope this will help. Comcast in Indiana added my name to my husband's (USC). We went to the office directly and asked for the print out. We asked them 2x. Try asking again. How long have you been married? We were married about 3 months when we had our interview so they did not expect a lot of those from us. We didnt not have our insurances that time but we were approved.Don't forget pictures. How about life insurance policy? Ours was delayed due to his medical/physical exam but we showed USCIS the letter from the insurance agent that it's at work.

What you have is good. Being copies of what you already sent as well in case it got misplaced as occasionally happens.

We are having the opposite problem- easy to get her name on utility bill, but it has been much more difficult to get Frontier to add her name to the internet bill.

sounds like you have enough. Do you have joint bank accounts? its add to add a user on to a credit card or store credit card. open a joint shopping club account (BJs, Sams Club)

we even printed out all of our correspondence from Facebook. go with enough paperwork to drown you IO. We had a huge file full of papers. we handed her copies of things until she said stop.

yes, we have joint checking acount.

We'll try to make a life insurance or health insurance this week. I don't know if we cand fix that with comcast because our next bill is due on december 23rd, 3 days after the interview...

I have interview on 22nd Dec. We got married on Sep 15. We have joint checking account. We don't have life insurance yet and no utility bills at all as we are living in his sister 6-rooms house (kinda traditional living). We have our wedding photos, short trip photos, family photos of us celebrating birthday party at home, my school payment by his credit acc and our vacation Itinerary to Las Vegas in Jan. Plus, he's trying to add me under his BOA credit acc and Costco American Express acc.

That's all I have. Hope it's enough...

Yes you will be fine.

And to add you under his Credit Cards is very easily done.

BOA could be done online.

and American Express is easier to call.

but becomes useless unless they ask for SS# to help your credit.

as this will be the starting to earn your credit Which mostly will involve a secured credit card I believe.

I have excellent credit and unable to receive normal credit card at the moment. Due to little credit history of buying a car and paying all on time.
