I found this forum by searching around and wanted to introduce myself, names Kimberly and I live in Maryland (just outside Washington DC). My fiance is Haitian but working in Turks & Caicos so I am not sure yet where we will file. He is a Haitain citizen but been living in T&C for 13 yrs, worked there for 8 yrs. I haven't filed anything yet, just getting everything in order, researching and educating myself on it all.

I want to thank you all for the information here, it's very helpful!

Best advice I can give you is to read the guides, get very familiar with the process and ask questions.

Wish you luck with the process. The waiting sucks but the end DOES justify the means!!!

I apologize if I posted my introduction in the wrong section. I found that thread from my country portal, not in a specific forum thread so I thought it was a geographical forum, not specifically for those who have submitted the K-1's. I do apologize. Hopefully I will get it all down soon.
