Just completely curious to know if anyone else has recieved a new case number from NVC? Let us pray that they are not as slow as CSC. ;)

4-25: I-129F NOA1

6-23: I-129F RFE

8-27: Sent RFE Reply

9-15: I-129F NOA2 FINALLY!!! Thanks be to you lord!

9-19: NOA2 by postmarked in snail mail (rcvd' around the 22nd)

10-12: Received e-mail from the NVC stating they recently forwarded our petition to the consulate! =)

10-17: Consulate received petition from NVC and mailed out packet 3 & 4

10-25: Johann collects Packet 3 & 4 from embassy!

10-27: Return information to the embassy!

11-7: Received Packet 4

11-28: INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE DID IT~ APPROVED

12-1: Visa Picked up from Embassy

12-23: Johann is coming to the STATES! Yay!

3-17: It's a GREEN Wedding!!!

I just got my Case # - NOA2 date was Sept 7th, NVC assigned Case # on Sept 22nd

We have been waiting to get word from NVC about our new case #.We got approved on Aug.31.So we read on a post here in VJ and someone said that we can email them and they would respond.Sure enough we did,and it took 2 days only for them to respond with our new case #.Also as a bonus they said it was already forwarded to the U.S.Embassy in Manila. :thumbs:I am checking the mail box everyday for a notice.

6/01/06 - Redirected to CSC

6/14/06 - CSC e-mailed confirmation on the reciept of file

6/23/06 - They they sent the IMBRA RFE

7/03/06 - The emailed that the IMBRA RFE went out on 6/23/06

7/03/06 - I received IMBRA RFE

7/05/06 - Touched

7/06/06 - Delivery Confirmation from the Post Office RFE recieved

7/11/06 - Email notification from CSC that IMBRA RFE Recieved

7/12/06 - Touched (but was to respond to an email that only said 'request recieved and will be processed within 30 days. argh)

7/13/06 - Touched

NOA2 September 11!!!

10/18/06 - Received at Embassy

12/23/06 - Recieved package with interview/medical schedule

01/08/06 - CFO interview/(pre-departure class) Complete

1/11/07 & 1/12/07 Medical complete

Wolf have you emailed? If not, give it a try. They respond pretty fast and most likely the response will say it has already come and gone and on it's way to the consulate. Good luck!

Ah! So frustrating! I seriously e-mail EVERYDAY becasue it takes a couple of days to get back ... so I e-mail in hopes of hearing something. Still no word. It has only been 10 working days, but I was just hoping that after having to wait so long for the CSC, it wouldn't be so bad now. And I do agree ... although I have no anger towards the petitions that are being processed first, it is a bit frustrating.

It would sure have been nice if CSC shipped out all those March/April petitions overnight to the NVC the minute they were approved - they owed us that! But unfortunately, I don't think they get there before 3-4 weeks after approval these days. : (

And call too...will get their attention...it took 26 days from NOA2 approval for them to email us (as a response to our inquiry) that they have assigned us a case number & sent our approved petition to the Embassy/Consulate

Good day to everyone! Same here. i am also waiting for an update from NVC. We got approved last Sept. 18 and we are hoping to have our case number soon. I also emailed the NVC and they emailed me back saying that they didnt get our case yet :( Lets just pray that our application wil be smooth. Have a nice day!

July 7,2006 = received i-129f at NSC

July 12, 2006 = NOA1

Sept 15, 2006 = touched

Sept 17, 2006 = touched

Sept 18, 2006 = Finally! we got email notification of NOA2!!! :)

Sept 23, 2006 = NOA2 in mail

Oct 11, 2006= electonic mail of my case number! thanks God!

Feb 15, 2007 = interview (approved! thanks God)

March 8, 2007 = Arrived in Portland, Oregon

May 2007 AOS application

Aug 2007 Interview date but cancelled :(

praying for approval soon

We have been lucky, our case was received on 29 Sept at NVC and sent out to the embassy the same day. (NOA2 date was 18 Sept. from CSC.)

I'm sure now that it's in Accra things will slow or come to a complete halt. I've lived in Ghana long enough to not be too optimistic, but we'll see....

I did have good luck with email to NVC. Response times were less than a day. I kept it short and to the point, and put the case number with nothing else in the subject line. Don't know if that helped, but it's worth a try.

Try be patient, as hard as that is, it will get there!

LOL. Is waiting a mere 69 days patient enough? NVC have yet receive my petition from CSC. :help:
