Stuck In AP after approval is there anything I can do???

So I was looking at the FBI FAQ for security clearance and something that caught my attention was credit check ((galp)) uh oh this could be our problem. I had to stop pay all my CC's 3 years ago and now I owe alot of money. I had to help my mom after her surgery. I hope this doesn't effect us. That would suck. I know what u mean about torturing ur self lol.

5/9/2011 Received package from me
5/10/2011 He sent back to me DHL
5/11/2011 Received packaged
5/14/2011 Sent Forms to the Texas Lockbox.
5/16/2011 They received it. Signed by J.Author

7/29/2011 NOA2 APPROVED NO RFE

No that won't be a stopping issue... i mean im sure they can view our credit history etc but that won't be any reason for AP or security clearance. Youre in security clearance probably due to simply name checks..once those are clear they can issue the visa. Don't put so much stress on it...

At this point in the process the security checks are all done on him. The USCIS does the security checks on the American petitioner before they approve the I-130 petition. That's my understanding of the way things work at the embassy stage.

it happens a lot, unfortunately it is just a waiting game from here...just be patient and let them do their checks and soon you will have your visa. You can call dos for updates 202-663-1225 dial 1 then 0 to get to a visa specialist. They won't tell you much when you call, don't expect specific details or anything but you will know when it is cleared and when the visa has been issued...

take care and bide your time...(i didn't i tortured myself lol) mine lasted 2 months but our case was in egypt i don't know the average wait times for jamaica but i am sure you can find them here on the threads...

Well i feel ur pain!! my case was approved since July 8 2011 and everyday i think i was going MAD until friday nov 25..I got the call/email from kingston ja that the finish review my case.I was soooooooo happy!! an i waill pray for u..so it was 4 mnts of Ap for me.good luck..did u file a waiver?? u can email me private also.

so the AP you experienced meaning your passport was with the Embassy the whole 4 months or not? what did they tell you during the interview? i'm confused.
