wow that is strange, have you been checking the USCIS website with ur receipt number? I sent out my mom's application on sept 30, 2011 and theye received it oct 03, 2011, i got my NOA 1 on oct 05 and NOA 2 oct 25th...vermont center though. better still check NVC automated line with ur USCIS number ( 603-334-0700 press 1 for english and follow the instructions)and see maybe ur case has been forwarded to them but you did not get the NOA hardcopy.

All the best

I also filed a petition for my parents and received the noa1 on 20 June 2011 and still haven't heard anything yet. Does anyone know how long CSC is taking these days as their website still says 5 months and it is past that.

having gone through most forums, I have come across Vjs who stated they never received any NOA until NVC emailed them...some even stated until their case was closed at NVC before the USCIS status changed. so maybe it wont hurt to check the NVC AVR ( automated voice response system) on this number

603-334-0700

press 2 for english

then key in 1 that you have ur CIS receipt number and at the prompt enter the number

u never know ur case may already be at NVC but no USCIS update

Unless there was an RFE involved in the case, once it more than the projected processing time, start making calls, emailing to stir the search for your file and move it to the next level if there is no reason for the delay

Hi all,

Finally, I receive an email stating that USCIS sent mail notification stating that I-130 is aproved.

BTW, what is the next process once I receive the NOA2?

Thanks a lot

did the email state the date of approval? did you check the www USCIS.gov "my case status" with your receipts number to verify. Once they approve, they mail your file to NVC ..so call the 603-334-0700( 24hr service) NVC number and listen for the first three letters of your CIS (USCIS)receipt number when you 1 for the correct first three letters the machine will as you to key in your number. better still call and press 5 to speak with an operator ( 730 a.m. -12midnight eastern time) and ask them for your case status, they will ask for your receopt number.

if NVC has your file they will tell you when they received it and if it has been enetered into their system or not.

all these can be done without you having the hard copy NOA 2 in hand

Hi All,

I received the NOA2 hard copy in the mail and it was approved dated Nov 29, 2011. On the letter states that i will wait another letter from the NVC for the next process within 30 days. Any idea or suggestion on how will I expedite the process?

Thanks,

Calendar Girl
