My fiance finally sent off Packet 3 to the US Embassy in Tunis on Nov 23, 2011. Once the embassy receives it, does anyone know how we can get an interview date scheduled rapidly? The reason I ask is because the NOA2 is only valid until Dec 19th and unless he gets an interview date by that day, we have to start all over again. We are SO close to finally being together again and it would devastate us to have to start over.

Any suggestions would help.

Thanks in advance.

They will extend the validity date another 4 months automatically if they cannot schedule an interview in time (which is unlikely at this stage). That being said, if your fiance has everything ready and the medical done, it would do no harm to call the embassy and ask for a cancelation appointment, if he can be there quickly.
