"Waiter! Do you serve crabs here?"

"Why, yes, sir -- we serve anybody."

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

This is a common delay tactic by USCIS and Embassy. Its BS and they know it but no way to prove it. We provided several copies of the G28 which mysteriously went missing. We hand carried them to Embassy so it wasn't lost in FAX or email. Send another email, find out who the Station Chief and the Ambassador at the Embassy are and copy them on it as well.

*It is also not specific to the Phillipines Embassy they all do this.

Hello, thank you for sharing. We still in 221(g) Wait...10 weeks now.

Embassy claims they never received several documents G28 and lawyer request from us.

Where you in 221g wait? How long?

Thanks again

Embassy finally responded to lawyer...now they need a different form. (DS-3032 the lawyer used G28 essentially same purpose is to officially acknowledge lawyer represenation)...took well over 2 weeks and many emails and calls to get any response.

I hope we get visa before christmas...going on 3 months after interview. We started the process in Feb 2011 (almost 10 months now).

I dont know any other people in same situation.

Senator Boxer sent an inquiry on our behalf...its been almost 3 months (12 weeks). Embassy said a week ago to wait 2-3 more days for instructions...that our package went to CO...they also advise we call every day because mail system is not reliable or fast...over a week since that call and those instructions to us...nothing...nada.

The response to lawyers are all vague...response back to senator (i received in the mail)...vague...just a bunch of delay tactics and ...

What agony to deal with Manila Embassy.

How did someone from Belarus come to know the complete inner workings of all of our embassies worldwide and the entire USCIS system? Amazing. Did you take an online course? Or, as is more likely, you have no real clue...because I am going to go out on a tiny limb and suggest that YOu have NOT worked in every U.S. embassy on the planet, nor have ever worked for nor managed any office of USCIS....so....where did you get all of this 'first hand knowledge?'
