Hi Everyone as I promised here is what happened yesterday at our interview in the USCIS office at Indianapolis:

I am adjusting from a B2 and my husband is the U.S Citizen.

Our interview was scheduled at 10:40 a.m. We arrived at 9:40 because we thought we would have a hard time trying to find where to park since the office is at downtown Indianapolis and it was raining a lot. We didn´t have any trouble at all finding a parking spot just in front of the building. We went upstairs and a security girl told me to give my interview notice to the lady seating behind the window. It was the only window open. I did it and she told me to sit down an wait to be called. We sat down at the waiting room and just talk to each other. We saw a very old male IO coming out and called the Asian family that was already there before us, then another male IO officer came out and called a man that was alone. We thought it is going to be only men at this office. Then a young lady came out and called my name it was only 10:15. We stand up and went toward her she greet us with a smile and told us where to go. We step inside her office and she told us to put everything we had in our hands over the chairs and to stand up in front of her with our right hand up. She sworn us in and they she told is that we should be aware that we were being taped. She started with my husband.

The questions were:

- What is your full name?

- Where were you born?

- What is your birth date?

- Where do you live now?

- Tell me your address

- In what other places did you live before?

- Have you ever been married before?

- Do you have any children?

- When did you get married? (My husband block for 5 minutes because he was so nervous he said he could not remember the day then he said it right lol the IO smiled)

- Have you filed this petition for anyone else before?

- Where do you work?

Every time she asked my husband a question she just put a check in the I-485 with a red pen.

Then she said know is your turn madam:

- What is your full name?

- Where were you born?

- What is your birth date?

- Where do you live?

- What is your address?

- Have you ever been married before?

- Do you have any children?

then she said lets talk about your previous visits to the U.S.A, she asked if that was the only passport I have ever used to enter the country, then she ask me How many time have you ever visit the U.S.A., I told her 4, she asked tell me the port of entry of those 4. I had to recall all my entries because she had my passport in her hands while she was asking me that. Then she asked if I knew anybody else apart from my husband in the U.S.A. She then took out some papers and ask me that when I asked for my B2 visa in Madrid, Spain I told them I was going to stay at xxxx place in Miami. I told them yes he is my older sister´s father in law. She was fine with the answer. I wasn´t really expecting that they would look into that but that is fine. She then asked me the Yes/No questions from the I-485.

She asked my husband how did you meet, how long was the courtship and when did we get engaged. Then she said do you have anything else you want to give me as evidence of a bona fide marriage. I gave her copy of health insurance cards, bank statements, just one electric bill with both our names in it because that was the only one we had, copy of my airline tickets when we visited each other, a copy of the bill from the hotel we stayed for our honeymoon, a letter from his employer because my husband started a new job a week ago, the IO was fine with that no big deal. Then I hand her my photo album she looked at it very quickly never asked anything and the closed it and said OK. I am going to recommend this case for approval, and she checked the box that said approved in her papers. She said I will receive my GC in two weeks and how to remove conditions. Then she told me that in 3 years I can become a Citizen if I wanted to. She look at me and said do you have any questions and I asked her about the EAD since I only had it for 3 days and she said you can keep it and use if you need too but your GC will come soon so once you have it don´t use the EAD anymore. And the she smiled and walk us out.

Around 6:30 p.m I got a text saying my case has been update so I went to look online and my status changed to GC production

Sorry I made it so long but I don´t want to miss any detail that can help anyone
