"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!" - Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the United States, 1945.

"Retreat hell! We just got here!"

Oh, since it is your first Thanksgiving, you get to clear the table and wash the dishes while the other family members sleep from an overdose of 3,000 or more calories! :D

Happy Thanksgiving everyone - newcomers and those who have enjoyed previous Thanksgivings.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Tell them it's an American tradition to do the dishes on your first Thanksgiving.

Dishes? I don't wash no stinkin' dishes. Since hubby has to work today, I'll be out to the pasture catering to my other beloved Arab with soaked hay cubes, three pounds of cut and peeled carrots, sliced yams, two and a half quarts of wet and dry grain mixed with beet pulp, fresh Italian bread, and a small handful of dried corn.

Happy Squanto Day, and remember: In everything give thanks.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
