I thought that we have to send forms, passport style photos, passpoort copies and citizenship copies, proof of relationship (i.e. itinaries, boarding passes, phone records, photos as a couple) to the lock box? I read that on the visa journey page.

True - I'm not sure from the post if you are filing the I-129f petition or if you are past that and your fiance is applying for the actual visa.

If you have an approved petition then the forms, evidence etc for the visa application goes to your fiance for his/her interview

What exactly is sent to the lock box? The way I read it I thought a binder with proof of relationship was necessary.

Please read the instructions on the USCIS website. If you could not find the address which is clearly listed you may have missed other very important information in the instructions.

You don't have to include evidence such as phone records as they don't prove you met in person. Boarding passes, passport stamps, receipts etc that show you met in person are needed. Photos of the two of you can be included but are secondary evidence.

You really need to refer to the USCIS instructions first - they should be your primary resource.

I am not sure if you provided information earlier, but I am utterly confused with some basic info I am trying to get out of your question. What are you trying to do, why did you create a binder for what? If you have the binder with all the required information, you should have the info on what to do with this, right? Or am I missing something?

As you don't have a timeline or much information (not personal info) it would be easier for others to answer your question if you can let all know few things like the following:

1. Visa Type

2. What stage are you in (I am guessing just started with the forms) this process

3. If you have any specific questions?

Trust me, you will get wonderful and great suggestions from others if you are really specifc.

Thanks

The guide for k1 visa petition on this site recommends including evidence of an ongoing relationship. I included way more evidence of relationship than was necessary. It would have been nice if the guide said it was only needed for the visa interview.

K1 visa - NOA1 - September 19, 2011

K1 visa - NOA2 - March 2012???

Some countrys need to do something called " front loading " where you provide much much much more evidence than is listed for the petition. Some countrys do not need this.
