So my fiance would've gone to his interview today... if it weren't for the fact that Malaysia has yet to send his police certificate that he sent for September 6th!! When he finally got in touch with someone there, they said the paperwork was never received (even though they had told him it was back in September) then they changed that to "we got it but we need more" then it turned into "we need you to resubmit", all of which he only found out b/c he called them every day until he got answers. Anyhow, after asking the visa team what he should do, they recommended that he cancel his interview and call them when he got the certificate and they'd give him an interview date "ASAP". I'm worried that ASAP could be February/ March and we will have to move our wedding date AGAIN. And before I get the lecture of "you shouldn't plan your wedding until you have the visa in hand", we pushed it back 7 months from the original wedding date and 5 months into the process.

I'm getting so frustrated with this process and am feeling like I can't do anything. My fiance is having to bear the brunt of this b/c he's the one in the UK and the one going to the interview, but I just wish there was something I could do. Anyways, just wanted to vent, don't really have a question. I haven't been on here in a while and sometimes it's just nice to get it out. I don't want to put it on my fiance so I come here. :crying:

He should of gone to the interview and then he could be approved pending the police certificate, then just sent the cert in when he got it and got the visa a few weeks later in the mail..

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The only problem with that is that they apparently give you a timeframe to produce the certificate and if he didn't get the certificate within that timeframe, we could have ended up in a much worse situtaion.
