Timeline

My husband band has finally lifted and he has an interview in December. Does anyone know if we need to pay the visa application fee again. It was paid originally in 2008.

I would assume yes you will have to pay the visa fee again, since it is non transferable and non refundable. But I did K1 so not positive, but most likey would think you would need to pay the visa fee again.

Be very careful. I had a friend who at the time fiance had a three year band. Once the band was done he called for another interview. At that time they said they wanted to see the US fiance which meant another interview. When she came in for the next interview they told them the paperwork had expired and that they would have to file all over again. I advise her to marry this time since it would cut down on the cost of paperwork and that he would come here with a temp green card. So all in all you really need to make sure your paperwork is still valid. There is a time frame on most paperwork.

The OP said her "husbands" ban has lifted, if it was an I-130 they originally filed it will not have expired as the I-129f does :thumbs:
