After sending the adjustment of status package,when will I receive my Work Authorization?

My American citizen husband will be petitioning for me.We plan on sending out the package by January 2012 ,because I still have to get my medical exam completed,Birth certificate translated,etc.I want everything to go right so we're not rushing.So say I send out my package in January,when should I be receiving my Work Authorization,Interview notice and the actual " Green Card?"We will be mailing out the applications from New York,where I have resided practically my whole life.I've waited so long for this !! Wish me luck :-)

What status are you adjusting from? In any case, it usually takes between 70 and 90 days to receive the EAD and/or AP documents for work and travel, and around 5 months or so for the interview. Often the decision comes fairly quickly following the interview, unless some additional background checks are required. I filed my paperwork in NYC early March, and my GC was issued on July 22nd, so about 5 months from start to finish.

usually, is just a 2 year card on any AOS case, unless an I-130 was filed as well.

There are variations, sure, but without much info from you? Hard to give the exact answer.

How did she come here?

If she came on a K-1 you will get a 2-year card regardless, unless you file an I-130 with the I-485. If you are adjusting status from something else where you filed an I-130 with the I-485 or if you filed for an IR-1, you will get a 10-year card.

Depends what visa you AOS'd from and what forms you filed.

We're filing everything together:I 130 , I 485,I 765,etc...Im a Canadian citizen and I have been in the US since I was a kid...This year marks my 18th year in the U.S.Im out of status.

Yes,of course.I went through a port of entry.I have a stamp on my passport done by immigration when I entered the U.S. As a Canadian citizen,im not really sure if I received an I94 though.If I did,its no where to be found :-/

Canadians don't usually get I-94s as tourists. It's not a problem.
