hello fellow VJ'rs, As i am praying and wishing for the best on my best friends fiance's interview ( it's in about 3 hours, moroccan time) I am now thinking about what kind of things i should send for my fiance's petition.... I have heard "front load" alot and what exactly does it mean?? Does it mean to go ahead and just send what you can of proof of relationship?? Im a little confused on that. If anyone could advise me, it would be greatly appreciated :) I really wanted to send the petition out right away as soon as i returned home from visiting him, but i had some financial setbacks. so come this February will be one year since i have seen him. I hope it will not hurt any chances because i didnt send it out right away. Besides pics, should i go ahead and send a bunch of conversations?? I figured i could send some from the beginning, some from the middle and some from now, thats alot because we talk everyday since December 2009, LOL OK, i'll be quiet now and hope for some help :D Thank you in advance for all your advice

Frontloading is sending copies of items that include but are not limited to:

  • Airline boarding passes
  • passport pages showing entry/exit stamps and visas
  • hotel receipts
  • credit card receipts
  • emails
  • chat logs
  • admission tickets to well known sites in a country
  • phone records
  • pictures
  • itinerary confirmation emails
  • itineraries

The US Consulate in Casablanca is well known for being very tough to obtain a visa from due to Morocco being a country that has seen high incidences of visa fraud. IMO, frontloading a petition that will ultimately end up there is essential.

Front loading does mean putting your relationship evidence in the initial petition, as Ryan said. Whether or not it's necessary depends on the specifics of your case, such as whether you have any red flags to be addressed up front.

hmm I dont think we have any red flags, unless you consider him being 7 years younger then me a red flag?? In any case, i will front load because it is Casa and i have heard so many horror stories. I will just send copies of everything and send the originals to him later, im sure they would want them. I will send out the petition in about 2 weeks, hopefully less, lol Thank you all for ur replies :)
