Jessica,

What Country are you petitioning to?

When you call the NVC, the first thing they will tell you (if they don't have a case number yet) is it will take up to 15 working(not calender) days to process your packet. If they have it, they will give you the case number and at that time you can fwd it to your fiance for them to start working on their DS forms and you need to get in gear and start getting your tax/bank/payroll information b/c after all this wait the next 6-9 weeks will feel like a ride on a rocket and next thing you know your buying a plane ticket for their arrival.

hi ill share our experience.,after a week receiving our NOa2 my friend told me to always call nvc and ask for MNL case number., and when i have that case number even without letter we pay in BPI, then schedule our interview the next day.. im kinda doubt with it but we did try and accepted... then we keep calling nvc again asking if they forward it to USEM. when they confirm that they forward it already you can procede to your medical examination..

i hope our experience will help u.

Call NVC, that is where your approved petition is sent. Your petition is probably already been forwarded to the embassy. From personal experience it took us about 3 weeks to here from the embassy..
