i had my biometrics last nov 15 (brooklyn, NY ASC office) and 2 days after got a letter notifying me that my application had been transfered to california service center to speed up the process. no interview date was mentioned. should i still expect another letter for the interview date or im exempted from it? i wish!

It is still possible to get an interview, though the chances are not as high as before.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Hello :)

When your case is transferred to the California Service Center it is often the case that your application will be adjudicated without an interview. CSC will contact you if they need something further from you or to tell you that your case has been approved. However in some cases a person's case can be transferred back to their local office and an interview will be set. This however is not very common, but it is important that you're aware that this could happen.

Here's to a fast approval! :D

Naturalization Journey (Based on 5 years as a PR):

November 21st 2016 - Sent N-400 to Dallas Lockbox.

November 30th - Check Cashed.

December 1st - Email/Text Notifications.

December 8th - Hardcopy of NOA received (Priority Date 11/25).

December 9th - Biometrics Appointment Letter received.

December 19th - Biometrics Appointment.

January 4th 2017 - "In Line" for Interview.

June 9th - Online status changed to "Interview was Scheduled".

June 12th - Interview Letter received.

July 19th - Interview (NYC). Requested a "delayed Oath" for after September 4th 2017.

September 11th - Oath Letter received. Honored my request for a delayed Oath Ceremony. 

September 14th - Oath Ceremony.

Many persons applying for AOS from K1 normally get their case transferred to CSC for faster processing . If all is well with your background check-expect an approval notice soon without an interview . Our case was transferred to CSC and we just had a decision -registered for permanent residence --that is an approval . Now we are waiting for our card .Good luck .

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

mine was also transferred to CSC... got approved in 2 months w/o interview...

most of the cases who were transferred to CSC got no interviews and been approved...

be glad yours was transferred! yay :dance:
