I don't care what color the scum are who are stealing my telly - but I do avoid living in areas like that. In the US, I agree that many of those areas are visibly black and concentrated, but there are huge numbers of white trash too which are less concentrated into certain tight areas. Most of the trailer trash are white and they are to be avoided too.

At least the blacks have some excuse as they have only had 50 years to get up to speed since the civil rights act, and it takes at least that long. The whites have no excuse but there are scores of millions of those.

The UK has a similar underclass of whites and blacks so its not an American thing.

I have looked back in my families history and I cant find a record of anyone having a title deed to say my ancestors were owned by anyone or that they were transported in irons from one country to another.

Why be so obscure with your statements - you must want people to try and tease it out of you bit by bit until your final triumphal revelation which will be as plausible as jesus visiting the US to set up Mitt Romney's outfit

That is all totally correct and leads me on to another observation which is that every other american is proud of the revolution even though their ancestors didn't arrive here for hundreds of years after, and their ancestors were possibly involved as British Troops or German mercenaries

The population of the US was about 2.5 million and it was split into 3.

A third were revolutionaries

A third didn't care

A third were loyalist

So Only about 800,000 people supported or were involved, yet everyone tries to cosy up to the revolution like they were involved. That Mayflower must have been some big boat going by the number of folk who claim their ancestors were on it !

Also I refuse the guilt that people like the Irish or the Scots or the Indians try to put on me as an Englishman in 2011.
