I got my passport in July this year at DFA Cebu. It was a very long process and so tiring, and u need to have an extra patience when you decide to go at DFA. Imagine you need to fall in line at around 5am and the office opens around 8am  And I was asked what is the purpose of getting the passport and I said for fiancee visa process. I suggest you ask assistance from the Travel agency, like Delmar Travel and Tours and it will be easier for your fiancee coz they will assist her during her personal/physical appearance at DFA. My sister is going to get her passport from Delmar Travel and Tour this week November 24. She paid like 1,500 pesos for 35 working days. For as long as you have complete documents the you will be fine.

The following are the rates for passport application please double check if I was wrong:

Delmar travel and Tour:

Php 1,500 - 35 working days

Php 1,800 - 25 working days

Department of Foreign Affairs:

Php 1,200 - 25 working days

Php 950 - 35 working days

Documents I submitted during the application was:

1. NSO birth certificate ( In my case mine is not so readable so I showed my certfied true copy of my birth certificate from my local registrar. ( City Health Cebu)

2. Baptismal Certificate or 2 valid ID's ( Voters ID, SSS, Tin ID etc.) Make sure you have the photo copies of the valid ID's. :)

Hope this help. Goodluck! :)
