-For a guy who takes such an interest in Christianity and proving the falsehood of it, you too often come off as if your complete knowledge comes from Atheist talking points.

For instance, The dragon and stars are symbolic, I think (others can correct me) the ten Stars are often considered the ten leaders of the world at the time. It has nothing to do with Astrology as the talking point aimed to prove the irrelevance of the bible suggests.

-The Book of Revelations (60-100 AD) was not written in prehistoric times, Certainly at the time there existed: Science, medicine, doctors and yes, Math.

-I didn't count how many times you referred to people at the time as "Buffoons" but it was quite a number. If as you suggest they lived in a time of limited knowledge (as we do now).... how would that make them buffoonish or clowns?

- Re-read the section. It is not ten stars but 1/3rd of all stars: "His tail swept away one-third of the stars in the sky, and he threw them to the earth!"

- It'd be like saying you are going to multiply all the earths ocean water by a million, pour it into a very large glass (a glass about a million times larger than the earth), and then pour that water into your kitchen sink. Except what is written in the bible is much more retarded than that! The point they are making (or how it comes off) is clearly that a dragon could swing his tail and knock a few hundred (maybe thousand) stars onto the earth, and all the people and animals would go about their business without noticing anything had happened.

- They were buffoons because it took the buffoons another 1400 years from your dates to realize the earth was round and that you didn't fall off the edge if you set sail on a boat for too long. Many other examples but I think that one proves the point fairly well.

Secondly, I admit my numerical error as far as the stars are concerned, IIRC, they are still symbolic, if it were not so late I would dig into it a bit.

Agreed. On the face of it he has a clear law suit on the grounds of Religious protection. The employer is either a complete moron or there is something else here.

I'm kind of curious though, I wonder if they print accident free stickers everyday. Did he wear "665" the day before? If they don't print them every day it seems like they chose the number on purpose - definitely a lawsuit coming.

If they do print them everyday, that's kind of strange in it's own right, but then it might have been a good day to call in sick.

That was what I was wondering. Why just the number 666. Even if they did just that number or not then they should know that the number signifies a significant meaning and that some would not wear it and act accordingly. They must have wanted to rid themselves of the worker for some reason and doing it this clumsy way opened themselves to a lawsuit.

I guess he was the kind of worker who never missed a day of work:

I have experienced a string of miracles in my life. If I were to list the outrageous good luck that I have had, nobody would believe me. This is despite being a truly committed non religious person and borderline anti-religious for many decades

There are three possibilities that spring to mind but I am sure there are more:

1 Big G exists, he knows I am a nice guy and doesn't mind me not worshiping him

2 The Devil (Big D) is rewarding me for undermining the faith of the christian flock (baaaa)

3 There is no big G and its pure coincidence

AU Contraire, I know people who are christians (well, catholics etc) and they are beset by poverty, blindness, epilepsy and every misfortune imaginable and live in total misery while they wear their cheap nylon carpets out with all the kneeling and praying.
