Matt are you planning to send an expedite request based on military deployment? If so, a letter from your supervisor would be very helpful and most likely necessary.

yes i have already been approved for expedite, and have already been given an NOA2, but i am inquiring about the I-134 affidavat of support. Sorry for the confusion.

This could also be done online by printing out an LES right? Cuz the LES has my date of enlistment and date of separation.

I just got the letter from the personnel office, it's more "official" looking and was signed by my commanding officer. Why take half-steps in this process when a 10 minute visit to the personnel office will leave no doubts in your mind if your documentation is sufficient??

Matt, All you need is a Statement of Service letter that u can get online (AF) or from your personnel office and attach it to youe LES. I actualy had mine notarized just in case. It will have your specific brach of service seal at the top (letter head) which is a requirement. Good luck, Payato
