Dear VJ members...

Your advice is extremely needed. Im almost ready for calling to the Embassy and schedule the interview but before want to check if all is done good.

I collected all the evidence of ongoing relationship which I only have.

That is:

1. all of our e-mails (130 pages).

2. photos (i have only 13 of them).

3. my tickets to NY, to MB and back.

4. copy of J1 visa.

5. printed call list from Tmobile but only for one month July /those calls were done using cell phone, then using NOT cell phone..thats why impossible to get the rest of calls(my fiance bought phone cards and usually lost them, so...here is nothing to do) i wrote to the embassy and they just said i have to bring all available proof of relationship... Moreover as i got to know that its impossible to print calls from my cell phone(because its not contractual but pay as you go) I started to make photos of my phone screen after every time my love called me. Embassy said i can bring those photos too.

6. ecard

7. poetry that i wrote for my love and sent to him.

And nothing more...

Now im just waiting for my fiance to send me financial documents and will call for the interview...very worrying about evidence...

IS that ENOUGH?

The more is that our age difference is 27 years.

Please, tell me something...what..how...why...

What to expect? Is it going to be fine?

I was looking at reviews and a lot of people say that US Embassy in Kyiv is very understandable and itll all be fine. Can I trust that and just stop worrying?

THANX my dears!!!

I appreciate any help, any support...

You probably have too many emails but it does not cost anything to bring them. so why not? I gave them THREE emails form each of us covering a period of about 1 year. They did not even look at them and gave them back.

Phone records are not required so go with that you have and leave it at that, they never looked at my phone records and I had a LOT of them.

I had an album full of photos, they looked at exactly FOUR (4). 13 should be OK

Age difference is not a big deal in Kiev, particularly if the man is older which I am guessing is your case. 27 years is more than "normal" but I doubt it will be a problem.

Kiev is a very reasonable consulate. Questions, if any, tend to be directly related to your relationship. If you provide some evidence and all the documents needed (in terms of official documents) and follow the directions for the application, you should be fine.
