Hi guys, I am also a new member here, I have very strange question: nvc sends a ds 3032 which tells that your visa will become available within 9 months, but in fact it's not true, I know some people been waiting for over a year after they recieve ds 3032. In my situation my pd is 20/jan/11, I recieved my ds 3032 on march of this year, I don't think that my pd will be available on december. Can you explain it to me please, thanks

you should follow the visa bulletin recently For October, F2A numbers EXEMPT from per-country limit are available to applicants from all countries with priority dates earlier than 15MAY2010. lets see in the future how its move ???

Few years ago, it was stated on NVC website that, 'nvc sends DS3032 if visa will become available within the next 9 months', but few months back the statment has been modified to, 'nvc sends DS3032 if visa will become available within the next several months' (Source: NVC FAQS)

Hey August filers any news?

What do you think If I contact the congressman and addressed my case which is out of normal processing time would that be good?

You can certainly try - CR/IR filers seem to get good results (i.e. NOA2) by contacting their senator. I am not sure if the same applies for permanent residents, but it's worth a try if you are not getting a response to your service request.

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
24 April 2013: Interview
12 June 2013: Oath ceremony

HI guys do you know that USCIS updated their processing times, CSC is at 5 months?

It seems strange, most of the categories at CSC carries same procesing times. I remember similar scenario played out with VSC few months back.
