Hello Friends

I should be a member of this group,my PD is August 1 and already we have been contacted for further processing at NVC, e-mailed NVC for choice of agent, they are yet to respond but our payment already showed PAID for AOS ,now waiting for them to acknowledge e-mail and then we can mail packet then make payment for IV Fee bill too and then forward the packet as well.

Lets keep our head up and keep believing, our day will come and its nearer than how long we have waited.

Thanks! I really hope Vermont will show some progress soon, waiting for NOA2 is really starting to test my patience. In the meantime I am looking forward to seeing my fellow August filers going through NVC - keep us updated!

I can't confidently advise on the next steps since we are not that far yet, but have a look at these links if you haven't already:

If I understand correctly, the AOS bill should be available next.

Have u prepare urs athena?

Not yet. We've read the guides and looked at the forms, but we haven't started filling them out yet nor have I ordered any of the documents. Apparently a Finnish police certificate is only valid for three months, so I'll only order it after NOA2. I still have to check how to get a German police certificate and for how long that's valid. We do keep taking lots of photos though when we are together.

Speaking of the forms, I can't believe I will have to list all my trips to the US! My first trip there was in 1992, and I must have visited at least 30 times since then. I am not quite sure how I am going to find out the exact dates as I obviously didn't keep all the itineraries and my old passports only show the arrival dates but not departure dates. Might have to do some detective work here and go through old photo albums, calendar entries, etc.

How are you doing? Are you back in your home country now?
