hi All,

Out of curiosity I run some numbers:

My prediction is that Athenia's Aug 2011 PD will be current by this time next year

-assumption: 15 months PD movement in the coming 12 calendar months

VSC current processing time: 16 months, so her case will be passed on to NVC around January 2013.

NVC will take about 4-6 months to complete case, so let's take on average 5 months.

Case completed estimate: June 2013.

Her case after completion will be forwarded to the embassy for interview appointment in 4 weeks.

And...using the same logic, I can see all service centers heading to the same direction. I have a funny feeling that they are working on cutting out excess wait time between NVC completion and interview appointment date.

My own case would be

PD Dec 2011

Estimated interview date Nov 2013

Estimated NOA2 from CSC Oct 2012

Estimated NVC completion Mar 2013

So I would still have quite some time to wait...

I will revisit this post in 6 months to see how well this worked out.

Pleaseeeeeeee HELP my Priority date is August 29th and did not hear anyting from csc I called them last week and they said an officer is handling my case right now

It sounds like you will have your NOA2 very soon. If not, call USCIS again and submit a service request. Good luck!

Now if only VSC could put some resources to processing F2A cases - I can't believe they are still stuck in January 2011!

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)

If I got NO2 so how long dose it to finish the NVC process before my PD becomes current I'm sooo worried because they are late to approve my I-130?

You will have plenty of time to finish NVC processing before your PD is current. I think the NVC has not yet started processing any August 2011 filers, but once they start working on your case, you can have a case complete in a month or two (I've even seen some CR filers getting it all done in ten days or so). It might still take a year for our PDs to be current.
