Received AOS bill and DS3032 today.

I received them too on Jan 29. Im a little confused about the form, I am the petitioner and they send me both emails for AOS and the DS3032 as email attachements, not the applicant, i havet received any hard copy, should i be expecting any hard copy? About the form, the aplicant needs to fill it out and send it to me first and then I send it from my mailing address to the mailing address provided for the form DS 3032, or he has to send it from his address from Albania directly to them?

Received AOS bill and DS3032 today.

Cool!

I am a little bit jealous, I wish we were that far in the process... Good luck to you with the next steps, I hope you get your case completed soon. Considering that so many of us have not yet received NOA2, the list of documentarily qualified applicants must be getting short and August PDs might be current sooner than we think.

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
24 April 2013: Interview
12 June 2013: Oath ceremony

It's the usual routine to email the documents to both petitioner and the pricipal applicant; and you won't be receiving any hard copy again.

Its faster to just have the applicant email the DS3032 directly to NVC, either a typed-out copy(template on this website) or a scanned copy of the form.

Hopefully, VSC will speed up soon, and since 'fjoal' has an approval already, you should also be having yours soon.

The list of documentarily qualified applicants might be getting shorter, but this will depend on if VSC didn't speed up the approval rate for F2A; I think they will, since priority dates are getting so close.

I hope so too... Ever since I read about fjoal's approval I've been checking our USCIS account several times a week, hoping to see some progress, but our case still hasn't even been touched.

I don't know how you manage to cope with this so well. If I were in your shoes, I would be going crazy by now, with PD so close and still no NOA2. I am already getting more and more worried about our case not getting approved in time.

On the bright side, my husband will be coming over this weekend for ten days - can't wait!

actually Athena,

if jrh PD's becomes currents and still not Noa 2, I think he will still got his visa. by that time, he can really2 complaint to USCIS and asked for them to process his petition straight to nvc stages and nvc also will give him interview date immediately after all doc completed, without waiting any circumstances dates just like IR-1/CR-1

be positive always..

Well, if i drive crazy is even worst hehehehehe, i would never get my petition approve hehehehe just kidding !!!!!, now talking for real, There isnt anything i could do other than buying a flight and go to dominican republic to be with daughter and spend some time with them as i have been doing the last 2 years, thats has been my cure during this process...and since i had an online business and i was doing good money until last summer when my business started to flat down i had the chance just to quit jobs and go to dom rep. to see my family, so now i guess i cant quit my regular job, as is the only one giving me income and i need it for the affidavit of support, so no more trips to dominican republic which means i will have to stay in ny and push them so i can be with my family here in new york soon....So my advise is, dont worry to much and take your time to go and visit your family, there isnt anything more rewarding in life that the time you spend with your family, especially with your children's.

Well athena, they will definitely will have to do something with me if that happens....by the way i have 14 days to call them again, because the agent told me he would accept my SR If i haven't receive anything by 22 or 24 of this month (dont remember exactly).......so let see what happens.

He will get the visa of course, but there will be a delay which I find unfair in F2A category since the wait is long enough as it is. Given the current backlog at the VSC (apparently the processing times for citizens' I-130 petitions only moved by five days in December), I am not convinced that they will start processing F2A cases even if the PD has become current. I hope they will, but with USCIS you never know. Plus, we had a case here last autumn where someone completed their case at the NVC late and had to wait three months to be scheduled for an interview even though the PD was current. I would therefore advise jrh and all other February filers to do everything they can (contact USCIS, their senators, representatives, the CIS Ombudsman...) to try to get approved now. I suppose in a few months we'll have to start doing the same if there has been no progress by then.
