N-400 & ROC progress

I don't know if I've asked this before, but I've noticed there's no progress thread for ROC or N-400 and the progress reports are in with the questions. Is there a reason for that?? Does anyone else think there should be separation?

do you mean like an aggregate thread for progress regardless of month filed? something like that?

No I mean if you look at the forum list there is a K1 "Process & Procedures" forum (where the K1 questions go) as well as a "Case Filing & Progress Reports (where the monthly file groups are, or the "YAY we're approved" or stuff like that goes). There is one of each of those for the K3, CR-1/IR-1, AOS (Family) and AOS (Other), but no "Case Filing & Progress Reports" forum for ROC or N-400. Instead the questions and updates are all in the same forum.

I often rarely read the progress threads (unless I'm in the middle of a process and I'm checking to see how everyone else is going) and instead read the questions to learn, and also to answer. So I think they should split them like with the other forums.

ah. yes. i see. i agree, it might be nice to have sub-forums instead of mixing questions with progress threads.

Yes, there is. We discussed this at our last Moderator's meeting and decided that it would fragment these forums too much, that it would be fine to keep the progress updates for Removal of Conditions and Citizenship applications in among the general discussion on these topics.
