DS-230 - Dont have any space to fill the complete address

Hi friends,

while I am filling DS-230, there are some fiels where I dont have much space to fill the address.

Like, for parents present address, it only gives one line, and I am unable to write the full address. What should I do?

Do you suggest me to use photoshop where I can use smaller font to type it there?

When I am trying to fill employer company name, but it also has space limit, so not able to put Pvt Ltd

Should I skip to write Pvt Ltd or use photoshop to take care of this part in smaller font?

Any help is much appreciated.

DO NOT EDIT THE SIZE OF FONT!

Instead, what you should do is either type or write by hand the contents that do not fit in the normal application on a separate sheet of paper and attach it to the end of the DS-230 application form.

Be sure to label what section the information pertains to so the C.O. knows where to apply the attached sheet.

I too couldn't fit my parents' addresses into the line, so I just printed out the form and filled that part in by hand.

I kept an old typewriter around. and used it

When my attorney did not have enough room, he stated "See Attachment".

On an attached piece of paper, he typed the following (ex.I just made up the question number etc.):

DS-230 Part 1, Question 12

Petitioner: name, DOB, residence city, state

Beneficiary: name, DOB, residence city, state, country

Full address is as follows:

...

Also as a general rule, when attaching extra pages to forms that require signatures, it's good to sign the attachments too.

If the space on the form itself is insufficient to fill in an address, write "see attached" on the form and then write the complete address on a supplemental sheet (be sure to indicate the section and question you are filling in on the supplemental sheet).
