I-129F instructions from 2003?

I'm helping a friend fill in his I-129F.

Part A, question 11 asks if you have ever filed for this or any other alien fiance(e) or husband and wife before. The answer for him is YES, in 2003 he filed an I-129F for a previous fiance (now his ex-wife).

Since his answer is yes, he needs to provide the place and date of the previous filing. Unfortunately he kept no records and his memory is shaky, all he can tell me is that it was back in 2003 when he was living in Denver, Colorado.

Is it reasonable to put Denver, Colorado down as the place of filing? Or should the place of filing be the address that he sent the I-129F to?

If the latter, the address he sent the I-129F to must be in the I-129F instructions from 2003... any chance anyone knows where I could get a copy?

Thanks very much for the suggestion, I just tried calling USCIS (three times just to be safe!). They can't help with older versions of the forms.

The first person I spoke with said the place of filing would be the service center that processed the petition.

Any suggestions on how to find out which service center processed petitions for Colorado back in 2003? CSC / TSC?

I've tried looking through the timelines but they don't have much info from back in 2003.

Hmmm... looks like it was probably NSC that processed the petition.

That guy was also living in Colorado and filed at around the same time as my friend.
