DOS says p3 was logged on the 8th of nov but......

We sent in our packet 3 and then last friday nov 8th we get RFE because they didn't like the quality of our passport photos that we sent in. Anyway, my fiance went and had them redone and

sent them back this past monday 11-14-11 and tracking number shows embassy received RFE Wed 11/16/11. I called yesterday and the not so nice lady told me that it was not logged and was still

in processing. But today the very nice lady told me that it was logged on november 8th last friday.

I was confused and said to her, well I know that the 8th is when the RFE was sent to us, and she said she sees that, and I asked her if packet 3 still shows that it was logged on november 8th even though RFE went out the same day, and she told me yes.

Now I was wondering, has this happened before to anyone, where they get packet 3 logged but on that same day RFE goes out as well?

And she had also said she sees that our RFE was received, so then I asked her if packet 4 was sent out, and she said " not yet". I told her that I filed for a K-1 and I am aware that I must wait for packet 3 to be logged before I can schedule, and she confirmed this, but I am not sure if I missunderstood this last part when I asked her if I can schedule now or do I have to wait till I call back and they tell me that packet 4 was sent out.

So, can anyone tell me for sure if since they say packet 3 was logged on the same day that the RFE went out and they tell me packet 4 hasn't been sent out yet, can I schedule?
