I know what you mean. Trevor and I have been saying that we are so looking forward to not having to talk to each other on the phone and not having to send the 'good morning' email.

I felt exactly like you before my interview but you will be fine. It actually feels quite strange after all the stress and frustration of waiting for NOA1, NOA2, Case Number, invoices, CC etc etc

01/27/2011 - Trevor's N400 submitted
02/18/2011 - Married
04/02/2011 - NOA1 hard copy received - priority date 03/30/2011
07/08/2011 - Trevor is now a USC - called USCIS to request upgrade of the petition.
08/02/2011 - NOA2
09/08/2011 - LND case number received, medical booked
09/26/2011 - Case complete at NVC
09/30/2011 - Interview date assigned
11/08/2011 - Interview - approved!!
11/10/2011 - Visa in hand
12/04/2011 - POE in Atlanta
12/12/2011 - SSN number received in mail
12/12/2011 - Welcome notice received
01/06/2012 - Green card received
09/06/2013 - File for Removal of Conditions

If you have all the required documents you have absolutely nothing to worry about, the people in London are very nice and friendly :) I know the feeling, when I finally got re-united with my now husband I didn't want to see Skype for a few weeks :D I needed a Skype detox.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your good lucks! The interview went Ok, except they were apparently missing one part of the affidavit (which we defiantly sent) so I don't know if it got mislaid but we have to send it in again and then we should be all set. So it's been very busy trying to get it couriered over to me so i can courier it to them asap. So not quite the outcome we hoped but, nearly there. Just a little frustrating as we went over everything a hundred times and the agent seemed to look over it for about 10 seconds. But the additional paperwork they need will be with them on Tuesday, and she said once they have received that there should be no problems. Just need to find out what kind of timeframe we are looking at...

Hope everyone is having better luck than us!

Oh no! These things happen though. I'm sure if it will be with them by Tuesday you'll have visa in hand not long after. How was the embassy? x

Oh I hope so, the Embassy was a big waiting room really, I got there nice and early and it moved rather quickly. All the women behind the desks were a little flustered as Daniel Craig had just been in (I just missed him!!) It's encouraging to know that even James Bond has to wait in line!

It certainly IS good to know Bond has to wait in line too. I'll remind myself that if the wait drags on!! Fingers crossed for the missing affidavit paper winging it's way to you, and then to them, speedily. Surely you'll have your visa in hand by Christmas at this rate?
