Can't Do It

When I click on the link to download the I-130 form, a new window opens up and I get the following message:

I downloaded the most recent update of Adobe Reader (Version 10.1.1.), and am still getting the same message when I try to download the form. I've tried to download the form from different sources (this website, other websites, etc) and get the same message every time. Can someone email me the form? Or can someone tell me why I keep getting that message when I have the most recent version of Adobe Reader?

I don't know if it matters, but I was able to download the other forms I needed.

Did you try a simple reboot of the computer then download the forms you need?

I don't think I've turned my computer off in months. hahaha So, maybe that could be it. I'll give it a shot, thanks!

Go to the http://www.uscis.gov website, and download the current form from there.

I just tried http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-130.pdf and it worked for me.

Are you using Chrome? You may have to disable the built-in pdf reader, and enable the Adobe Reader plug-in.

Are you trying to open the form in the browser or by opening the file that you saved on your computer? Sounds like the Google Chrome snafu.

I'm using Safari. When I click the link, rather than the PDF form showing up in the new window, that message shows up there. I've got Firefox as well and will try using that browser.

Go to your add-ons and make sure the Adobe Reader is installed and enabled for the browser you are using. Adobe is warning of a hack-attack, so don't open any emails that say "Adobe 2011".

Okay...Firefox worked. It seemed the issue was with Adobe rather than the browser, which is why I didn't try Firefox before. At any rate, I have all the forms I need now. Thanks for all the help!
