Hi friends,

I need your help to fill out my DS-230. I am not sure how to describe my " Present Occupation ".

I am running multiple business, Multiple Pvt Ltd companies, where I hold a legal position as a Director, plus I am also a consultant. But I do so many tasks for my companies, like providing customer support, alot of billing work, so many other things. I dont know how to describe this.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

You said you are a director/manager, so would you not consider your job title a Business Director or Business Manager??

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

Thank you for reply. I think, using Business Director or Business Manager, it wont give any specific answer for what I really do. Like alot of people do ask? What do I do?

If I answer: Business, then it really may sound strange, as it leads to next question - What kind of business.

I am not sure about how to define my Present Occupation.

That is the point of a job title. You don't list every little thing you do. When i fill mine out i put Retail. I worked in a store and I did just about everything in the store! answered phones, helped customers, placed merchandise, cleaned, took orders, unpacked pallets of products, worked the cash etc.

They only want to know your title, if they want to know more they ask you at the interview. " I see you work in ....., what do you do there? "

It's a job title, not a resume. As Inky stated, if a CO wants to know more, they will ask at an interview.
