hi to all if some one can help me, i sent te I-230 the nov 04 2011 and today is the 21 and a have not reseve any notice from the nvc is normal the take a long time.

I had the same doubt...whether we need to type or is it ok if we "write" the details after taking a printout of the form...Funny part is wen i tried filling out in the pdf format i couldnt type in few questions...So i was thinking of writing...

Also, do we need to send both part1 and part2(unsigned) of ds230 or just part 1? Can somebody please throw some light on this..Please??

You need to send both part1 & part2 of DS-230.

Part1 needs to be signed now, and part2 shouldn't be signed.

Type using computer. As it would be clear enough for NVC to read and understand as it is.

#1 - From Kindergarten to Bachelor Degree

#2 - Yes, I was. Make sure your browser is up-to-date. Try to open the form in different browser if existing browser is making any trouble.

#3 - I called NVC Monday morning to check with human customer care, they confirmed it. Then same day, I got an e-mail from NVC about checklist, so I knew that it was false RFE for missing IV package since we have not yet sent it.

Thanks iwaiting for the reply...Just one more doubt...am soo sorry...what did u fill in the blank under degree/diploma wen u filled in ur "school" details...I mean for our college degree..we have a specific degree to mention..but for school..what did u fill in there? 10th grade,12th grade(HSC) something like that?

hey..since we paid the AOS and IV fee online..we dont need to pay anything else by draft or anything at consulate right..all the fee payment is done rite?

All fess related to the visa itself have already been paid.

By the way; is your case going through the Consulate in Mumbai or Chennai or the Embassy in New Delhi? Your timeline needs to be changed so it matches your information, India as the Country and CSC as your service center. Right now your timeline is at the defaults, Texas as the service center and Armenia as the country. The reason I ask where your case is going through is there may be a delivery fee associated with the return of the passport, however that's Embassy/Consulate specific and you need an answer specific to where your file is.

Whatever I have right now, dont feel much satisfied. I have to think over that, will decide it by end of the day. Will you update then.
