can a secondary applicant travel to US before the primary applicant?

i hope somebody can answer me.

my dad, mom, and sister were approved in their interview for F4 category. my dad is the primary applicant. they received their visas already.

is it possible/ permittable if my sister get to US first before my dad and mom?

  • 09/20/2010 - NOA1
  • 12/012010 - NOA2
  • 12/08/2010 - NOA2 hard copy received

NVC

  • 12/08/2010 - Case received by NVC
  • 12/09/2010 - Received NVC Case # and IIN
  • 12/21/2010 - AOS fee paid
  • 01/05/2010 - e-Mailed DS-3032
  • 01/11/2011 - NVC accepted DS-3032; IV bill invoiced
  • 01/14/2011 - IV bill marked PAID
  • 01/21/ 2011 - received RFE
  • 02/03/2011- sent RFE
  • 02/07/2011-NVC received sent RFE
  • 02/24/2011- reviewed papers
  • 02/25/2011- SIF
  • 02/25/2011- CC ! thankyou LORD
  • 03/02/2011- interview date scheduled on April 6, 2011
  • 03/7,8,9,10,11/2011- Medical, FOR SPUTUM!!!! Interview date CANCELLED! :(
  • 03/14/2011- sputum smear test- NEGATIVE
  • 05/06/2011- Immunization
  • 05/10/2011- Interview- Passed! :)
  • 05/16/2011- Visa Arrived
  • 05/19/2011- POE-LAX

got SSN

I amm not familiar with this but if they have their own visas already, why not?

11/28/11 - Case transferred to CSC

12/7/11 - Biometrics done

1/2/12 - EAD and AP approved (Card production)

1/20/12 - Got Driver's License!

3/7/12 - GC approved!

3/9/12 - Got a job!

3/11/12 - GC on hand

that's what i thought. but just making sure there will be no problem with her entry.

isn't it that she will get interviewed/ asked (with certain documents) at the point of entry? my mom and dad needs to stay til december for personal reasons.
